Abstract
In the field of sports, there are many phenomena that can be recognized or observed, and thus tested and measured to obtain objective results characterized by accuracy and reliability, provided they are used based on scientific principles. Tests and measurements are not merely tools to assess specific traits or levels, but rather to understand the relationships and correlations among these elements and traits. Therefore, they serve as evaluative tools for the physical, skillful, and psychological aspects of our athletes and teams by identifying correct treatments and solutions to avoid many shortcomings that coaches may encounter during training or when designing training programs—shortcomings that often go unnoticed unless there are consistent tests and measurements to rely on for evaluating training methods. These tools help place coaches on the right path, avoid errors, and address issues that can only be understood through continuous testing and measurement, making these methods indispensable for any coach who aims to guide their work scientifically and effectively.
