The College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences for Women at the University of Baghdad stands as a pioneering institution dedicated to advancing women's education and participation in physical education and sports in Iraq. In alignment with its commitment to academic excellence, the college founded the Modern Sport journal in 2002. This peer-reviewed publication aims to disseminate cutting-edge research in sports science, encompassing areas such as athletic training, sports psychology, biomechanics, rehabilitation, and sports management.
