Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the following:

The researchers used the descriptive method with both survey and correlational study approaches. The research population consisted of 50 handball players from Babil Governorate clubs. From Al-Qasim and Al-Musayyib clubs, a random sample of 30 players was selected to apply the scales for the most important emotional determinants and the spirit of challenge. The appropriate statistical treatments were used to reach the results. Based on the results obtained, the researchers can draw the following conclusions:
