Abstract
The shoulder injury is one of the problems that suffered by athletes and non-athletes due to the big burden on the shoulder joint because of the multi movements that the joint involved in. such movements may exceed the anatomical limits of the joint in cases of external strong hit which causes the injury.The research included a remedial program for recovering the shoulder joint after a medium injury. The program includes a group of exercises and body movements which work on recovering the injured to the normal status which is represented by doing the different movements within the normal range of the joint and solving the problem of the movement limit.The qualification period lasted for 40 days. The specimen was a group of athletes and militants with special need who use wheel chairs who have been injured in shoulder joint during exercises and matches. In such cases the muscle ligament may be torn which are considered medium injury degree. The number of the injured people is ten who visit physical therapy department in Baqubah hospital. The pretest and posttest were conducted so as to see the activeness of the suggested rehabilitation program where the scale was relied on to scale the limit of the movement in sitting position and stretching hands in addition to using medical ball. After the results had been treated statistically the study showed that the program was successful in the rehabilitation of the shoulder in a short time.The researcher reach a conclusion that the program had a beneficial effect on the shoulder medium injury. The researcher recommends the reliance of the program for the athletes and non-athletes who use wheel chairs
