Abstract
The aim of the research is to identify the effect of the use of verbal reinforcement in learning some basic handball skills for the first grade students. The problem of research is that there is a weakness in learning some basic skills in handball. The researcher used the experimental method to suit the nature of the research problem. (100) students from the first grade of the intermediate intermediate of the martyr Abdul Karim Qassim for boys / Rusafa first, was selected (30) students, or 30% of the percentage of the community of origin and divided the sample into two groups Experimental and control methods (15) students, and the researcher conducted a homogeneity and equivalence between the research sample. The eight-week training curriculum and the rate of two teaching units per week were determined in the teaching of some handball skills. The tribal tests were carried out before the implementation of the curriculum and after the completion of the curriculum Post-tests were carried out in the same way as tribal tests. The researcher then processed the data from the tests under the appropriate statistical means.The researcher concluded that the method of verbal reinforcement used in research has a positive effect in learning some handball skills and the proposed educational units played an active role in developing the level of learning some handball skills among students.
